Maybe it's just my webmail machine (it's getting old).

SAV finds viruses in the Modus directories from time to time, not a lot
but, now and then it quarantines one.

I've never had that problem so I"ve never had to look for any hack or
work around, sorry.  I've also never excluded the webmail directories
because my feeling was, if the mail gets to anything there it has
already passed through the virus check from Norman. Hmm, are you
scanning those for the redundancy?

MikeH,

We use Symantec Corporate Edition as well and your response sparked a
question.

When I try to exclude a specific directory it seems to take forever for
Symantec's AV to expand the directories (on the webmail server or
anywhere where there are large directories) so that I can choose the
ones to exclude.  Is there a registry hack that you are aware of that
would simplify (and speed up this) process?
