* This is the modus mailing list * Big Problem :-(
Is there a way to hide or fake the "to" line in the email header when sending to a mailing list ? For example if I created a (Closed) mailing list with the name of [EMAIL PROTECTED] which is tied to a text file that has all my users email addresses. Then I send an email to that list, it shows the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" in the email message (BAD BAD). That field needs to be spoofed or blanked out. I don't want my users sending an email to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and everyone seeing it. I see there is a moderator option, but lets say I set that to [EMAIL PROTECTED] is stopping one of my users from simply using webmaster as his pop3 name and then sending the email message ? Our old email server put the members email address in the "to" field. So each member only saw his/her name in the "to" field. I want to be the only one who can send/post email to this userlist and by hiding the email address of that userlist, that is one more step in securing it!
