Thomas,

I just went through a rebuild of our SQL server last week so I am still
somewhat fresh on these errors. Our error logs were filling up a 100 Meg at
a time every few hours with SQL errors but this was due to the SQL machine
not having the proper tables. I am no SQL guru in any way but I had these
exact problems and was helped by others posting suggestions.

1. Make sure your ModusMail is still configured to use the SQL database,
verify the name of the ODBC connection and the username and pass of the
database, this is more than likely a username of sa and a password you
specified during setup and is not the same as the default authentication
method which uses NTSAM.
2. Go to the ODBC connection screen within Windows (ModusMail Machine) and
verify the ODBC server IP, username and password and test it from this
screen. (Make sure you are using the IP address of the SQL and not the
machine name on the network.) If the ODBC is using the named convention
please change it to the IP and stop and restart the Modus Scan and Admin
services and see if that fixed it.

I think this may get you headed down the right track,
Ken Grimes
