I'll second you on that.  They almost never have a corrupted attachment,
its is always a large attachment and they get impatient or don't know
how to look at the download bar to realize that they are receiving a
large email and then they stop the transfer, the mailbox is then locked
and we receive a call that their email is "broken".  We tell them it is
a large attachment, we can delete it for them, they can download it by
waiting or they can receive it via web email.

We've seen that happen here when people have a large attachment to
download. Rather than wait it out they stop the transfer mid-stream and
then call us saying that their e-mail is "broke."  We tell them to go
into webmail and then they can deal with it from there.
