I'm looking to upgrade one of my mail servers' hardware at the same time that I upgrade the software. This server hosts maybe 50 domains and 5000 accounts, with about 130,000 messages in our 5-day quarantine. Most of these accounts are Extended Database.
My question is, should I hold out for a SCSI Raid system, or can I make do with SATA Raid (Intel controller, probably) at half the price?
