[Modus] Fw: SMI Spam and Virus Report

Because the system doesn't let customers release virii.

Why does the quarantine report below have spam messages that can't be released? What is even worse is that customers have been calling about this and asking me to release the messages and in every customer case so far the message couldn't be found using the search function. I had never noticed this before build 282.

QUARANTINE REPORT
This is a spam and virus report sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] on Tue Jan 13 03:29:25 2004

This report is provided as a service to San Marcos Internet, Inc. customers If you do not wish to receive this report you can disable it through the configuration settings within the webmail application. It is under the reporting button in the settings tab. You can also change the frequency of the report.

This new report provides the ability to delete all messages listed in this report from the quarantine.

IMPORTANT NOTE. You are receiving this report because some of the e-mail that was sent to you or from you is suspected to be unsolicited (SPAM) or to contain viruses or other potentially harmful attachments. The suspect messages were neutralized by the server and are actually detained in a private, personal folder called a Quarantine Folder. In case one or more of the e-mails listed below are legitimate messages, you can release them from Quarantine by clicking on the Release link at the right. To remove them permanently from the server, use the individual Delete links or the Delete All links. If viruses or other potentially harmful attachments have been detected, they will be removed from the released message to avoid any damage to your system. In case of doubt or for any question, please contact your MAIL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
