Hello Cary,
I had the exact same experience.
did you receive an answer from Vircom as to why it got through your filters (and ours), but not Vircom's own?

Thanks,
Lapo

Subject: Fw: You sent potentially unsafe content: Spam and VIRUS

I "sent as an attachment" an email I received, to Spamtrap3, which I knew was a fake "Security Center Announcement", puportably from Microsoft. It had some active-x content, which my browser blocks, and my browser said "it might not display properly because I was blocking active-x".

I sent it because it was spam and I received it, and if others received it they might be tempted to download the claimed patch, which would really be a virus. However, I got back the below message from Vircom. My question would be "Why I got the message from them but I didn't reject the original mail?" (with the same message)?

The original mail is a "Microsoft" looking message purporting to warn

MicroSoft News
Warning:
a new virus, [EMAIL PROTECTED], can infect your computer.
etc...
