Hello Ian, I ran into this as well. I found if you
delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VIRCOM key that will wipe out the pathing
and allow you to enter new install locations. There are also registry entries
for the services. That are listed under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SERVICES. Look for key
folders like MODUSADM, SMTPRS, SMTPDS, etc… Backup registry first :) Hope it helps. Charles From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello, I am in the process of installng a test run of modus3
in preperation for upgrading from version 2. However on the test server
the web mail portion doesnt seem to be installing the virtual directories into
IIS5. It did it the first time, but upon a reinstall it doesnt do
it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, modus3, IIS5, modus3
and IIS5, but nothing seems to get it back. It also says a previous
version is already installed when modus3 has been uninstalled and a new install
is being attempted, and it does not allow me to change the default paths for
the web mail. I'm wondering if there is some sort of registry entry that
I need to delete in order to fool modus3 to know to do a complete install
with the formation of the virtual directories in IIS? Thanks for any help. Ian The Kingdom Connection Go to www.missingkids.com |
