In which case you do a popdown as a scheduled job in a batch file on a
server.

Schedule it hourly if you like.

We did this for a short while, you could do it for months.
We did a file with

popdown   x y z
popdown  a b c
popdown u v w

and such for multiple users.

I am not sure on the spur of the moment if popdown does a remail, or puts
the mail directly into the mail box or what.

The point in this is, unless you find out and make suitable tweaks, you
might not get Modus filtering on the imported mail.
