* This is the modus mailing list * May work for you, but I specifically do NOT want my webmail server to use a remote directory to store messages. That is the one of the reasons that I setup a separate Webmail server.
If they make it so it can be configured to use whatever directory you want then that is ok, if it is hard coded to use the directories on the POP3/IMAP4 server then I vote NO! It should be simple enough, at least for Vircom, to write a utility that scans the primary server for valid Mailboxes and compares it to the mailboxes on the webmail server and then just delete those that don't exist on the main server. Have this scheduled inside of the Modus Console. However, we still have the old issue of I can't enable "delete not used mailboxes" for those that have the "don't leave a copy on server" and are forwarded to another box! So maybe it is tougher to write than I think :) Ronnie > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Brad Johnson > Sent: Thursday, February 05, 2004 1:54 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Modus] Feature Request for WebMail > > > * This is the modus mailing list * > > Not a problem Ronnie ... all that is needed is that the > webmail uses the same file/folder format as the mail server. > This is the way it is now except for the default domain on > the mail server.
