Hi David,

We see the same thing but the problem is that both of these have many mail
servers depending on the area the spammer is in. This is where the dynamic
blacklisting that we do here is so INVALUABLE. Our servers only block the
particular server that the spam is originating from and only for a set
amount of time. Originally, before we had the dynamic blacklist in place we
blocked the entire domain but that was a nightmare because of the wide usage
of those services.

Our Peercon RBL that we are working on now is planned to utilize the dynamic
blacklist (among other new features) and this will be the ONLY RBL that does
this as far as we know. It has cut our spam down by half before any other
type of blocking features are utilized. There will be discussion of this at
Peercon. For security reasons we can't go much further into this but the
project is moving forward and the backbone of this project is now
functioning for the team building this project. It is exciting and much
work but it will be one of the most innovative and effective new spam
fighters for Peercon members.

I know most here are using Modus with AntiSpam, some are not.

I am looking for a RBL that would have residentail Cable (comcast, Road
Runner, etc) IPs as it appears that is the biggest source of spam coming
from the US.
