Depends on what services you offer.
 
If you need Exchange or SMS or Group Policy or Content Management Server or Commerce Server -- then yep.
 
My web servers, office servers, terminal servers, modusgate servers, backup servers, SUS servers, and most sql servers (those not working with MS-CRM) are standalone.

Howdy...

For those who run NT4/W2K servers...

Is there really any reason to have any or all of your servers be part of a MS domain ?
Since you can set up drive shares I don't see any added benefits to do this....just a lot of headaches.
