Try going to:

/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/

and do:

ln -s XcodeDefault.xctoolchain OSX10.8.xctoolchain

and see if that solves all the problems in one go without you needing
to change anything.

IOW, you are creating a symlink for the directory it is looking for,
to the one that actually exists.
