Hi Guys, I am running Apache 2.2 with mod_wsgi in daemon mode, with multiple virtual hosts and multiple daemon groups for mod_wsgi.
Apache is running in prefork mode with the following configuration: Timeout 300 KeepAlive On MaxKeepAliveRequests 100 KeepAliveTimeout 15 StartServers 40 MinSpareServers 5 MaxSpareServers 10 MaxClients 200 MaxRequestsPerChild 0 Whenever an Apache restart/reload is triggered I am seeing a gradual spike in apache processes over a 5 minute period peaking at around 130 processes. After this the total number of apache processes begins to decrease down to its normal operating level which is about 15-20 apache processes. Does any have any insight into why this might be happening and why it is taking so long for apache processes to reach their required level?
