Ok nvm pretty much found the answer, you keep both an 80 as a fallback and a 443 with same directives. https://wiki.apache.org/httpd/RedirectSSL Guess I'm just wondering how to put each vhost in a separate file and still connect to the same application. Apparently this allows LE to better initial setup and automated renewals later on. Could be overkill
