Thanks, Julf. I'll look into it. I'm never too sure how closely the
phone versions of linux compare with the pc versions. Should at least be
OK with the python app.

You will need some software to provide an user interface. There are open
source packages for Linux - freediag, pyOBD etc...
My phone runs linux anyway... :)
