A pal of mine was telling me about a drink he makes: shreds lemon peel and puts it in a bottle of gin, puts the bottle in the boot of the car and leaves it for a few months. Says it's brilliant! Putting it in the car boot helps to keep the fluid agitated so it gets all the 'goodness' out of the lemon zest.
