I am with you Tim, I don't give a stuff what others may think its my car
and I will drive it how I like, certainly with the later hoods (and with
the Simmonds I had on my 02 car, the hood up/down is faster than the
tonneau, I also have the issue of liking the headrests on but have to
either put the backrests right forward or remove the headrests to get the
tonneau on, I wish the MC would offer the 'headrest pocket' option that are
available via some dealers trim shops!

The longest run I ever did in one day was from Eastern Sweden to almost the
Belgian border, over 650 miles, and we did it hood up and sidescreens off,
rear window zipped down (this was in my 08 4 seater) and it made for a very
pleasant day even if it was all motorway as we just had to eat the miles.

Each to their own and ignore the banter, the most important thing is to use
the car and meet the people ;-).
