David I have both Aperture 3 and Adobe Lightroom 4 and agree that Apple can be very tardy at upgrading their camera support. At present I think Lightroom 4 has the edge on Aperture and they have always been quicker with RAW support. In addition the price for Lightroom has been reduced with the latest version and can be downloaded from Adobe for £106.48. A trial version is also available.
