Where have we come to ?? If the lights and the brakes work what does anything else matter ? If I can drive an eight litre straight six on the roads doing 6 mpg with emissions which would shame China how can any modern car not be allowed an MOT ?....the world truly is going beyond the pale :( rgds Mike SWS

Apparently even a small leak around a join will make a difference. This can even be downstream of the sensor - I wouldn't have believed it until I once gripped around both ends of my silencer joins with welding gloves to get it to pass!
