Tim I remember our cars are very similar , and so the issues of course. My +8 sails through the MoT in every respect except for the emissions.
It takes Mike at BHM several "passes" to get a reading that is within the "Morgan allowance" . Ironically it is not the Lambda sensors that are my issue , it is hydrocarbons and CO . This year I have even bought a new catalyst, because he warned me last time that it was so marginal that I probably would not get through again. However thanks to a tip on here (I think it was Colin or Mike) I have got a nice new 400 cell cat for £150 including P&P from Sutton Auto Factors. All I have to do now is fit it!
