Hello, I've used Mojo in this context as part of a scientific data processing system. Clustericious (and Yars) on CPAN are portions of the system that are still being used operationally.
I've also put a minimal prototype of such a system (using Mojolicious and redis) at <http://github.com/bduggan/clowder>.
