behind a front facing nginx as the proxy. having services split up as service oriented architecture where you could have say authentication as a service running on one of the nodes in your grid of servers. that was the idea I was looking for an example of. I have the nginx proxy part worked out. I just did not have a good example of communicating between nodes behind the proxy
