I'm having a slight trouble receiving UPALERT's.. Under normal
circumstances, UPALERT's are generated fine, but if, for example, the
service is only down for one interval an UPALERT will not be generated.
I've rigged up an SNMP alert script to restart processes if they are not
running according to ucd-snmp. So, an ALERT will be generated (e-mail,
pages, etc., sent).. The process is restarted, but then no UPALERT is
sent. What's happening here? Another instance in which this will happen is
if a server is overloaded and responding very slowly. An alert will be
sent, but since the service comes back up almost immediately, no UPALERT
is sent..
