You cannot have multiple alert/upalert entries within one period.
But it is fine to have several _named_ period definitions.
Here is an example from our mon.cf:
watch switches
service ping
description Ethernet switche in Bielefeld
interval 5m
monitor icmp.monitor
period MAIL: wd {Sun-Sat}
alertevery 1h summary
alertafter 2
comp_alerts
alert mail.alert [EMAIL PROTECTED]
upalert mail.alert [EMAIL PROTECTED]
period SMS: wd {Sun-Sat}
alertevery 1h summary
alertafter 2
comp_alerts
alert sms.alert 01778xxx 01778xxx
upalert sms.alert 01778xxx 01778xxx
Of course it would be nice, if the mon server would accept your
configuration too.
