Hi,
I am
currently using fping together with mon, my dilemma is I am trying to store the
report generated by fping -s to a file but no matter what kind of piping or
output redirection I perform I just can't seem to store the output of fping -s
to a file, although all other options used with fping i.e. fping -a can be
redirected, fping -s seems not to work with output redirection. I would greatly
appreciate your assistance since I've been working on redirecting fping -s's
output to a file for 1 week now, and I think I've exhausted all means to do it,
well ever means I know off. Im just a beginner at PERL, so maybe there is a PERL
method of extracting fping -s output.
Thanks
Hubert
