Excuse the brevity since I'm on my phone. Look in the sample config or
comments ofthe config and set it to listen for the http connection.

Hey,
This is driving my nuts.
I have installed the monit under my Ubuntu. Changed the syntax
checked it :
monit -t
Control file syntax OK
started monit
ps aux |grep monit
root 5052 0.0 0.2 4248 928 ? S Jul31 0:00 /
usr/sbin/monit -d 180 -c /etc/monit/monitrc -s /var/lib/monit/
monit.state
and yet, when I am trying to see the status (or start/stop) or
anthing else, I get this error:
# monit summary
monit: error connecting to the monit daemon
I am really desperate here, and I don't even know where to look for
errors.
Can you guys help?
