I'm not sure if adding a file to /etc/permissions.d would have the same problem or if this is 'easier' allowed? Might be worth a try I think. (Thomas, can you confirm this with your Xorg.conf?) For Drag'n'Drop: which direction is not working? Gues to thost or host to guest?
