Thanks Robert that explains a bit. My goal was to make a minimal amount of changes to the webstack so that it could be kept upto date easily. Looking at the way it's done currently by creating a csproj file that references the files individually, I'm not sure it's possible.
What I'm not thinking is that it may be better to simply make the aspnetwebstack source be able to compile standalone on mono. I'm open to suggestions, I'm not sure I'm the best man/woman/person for the job, however I really want to give it a go.
