While I do understand the reasons for the policy, it seems to me that a more welcoming and trusting policy toward community involvement would go a long way towards attracting more people to help out. Yall have done an incredible job with Mono, and I know a lot of people have put their hearts and souls into it over the past few years, but I still don't feel like I should have to earn the right to dedicate my time and efforts to contributing.
And I definitely agree with Sean. Even if there are small bursts of help, it's still better than none at all...
