I managed to get past this problem by calling
mono_set_dirs("C:\\Mono-2.4\\lib\\", "C:\\Mono-2.4\\etc");
in accordance with the "Embedding" instructions at
http://mono-project.com/Embedding_Mono. I assume this is the correct way to
do it in a production environment.
Are there any instructions on including the Mono deliverables in a custom
install so that they land in the right directories?
