[Mono-list] Extras in the implementation??

Hey,               I am very excited about this excellent effort to port the .NET Framework, however something is puzzling me. Why are there extra things in the implementation? It seems to be a self defeating mechanism. Let’s say I write a program on a Linux machine using your framework and it runs perfectly. I think attempt to run it on a Windows machine and oh crap, I made use of a mono-only feature! I believe the System hierarchy should remain unmodified by your implementation to guarantee perfect cross-platform operation.   Maybe I am missing something…Please fill me in   Thank you, Brandon Bloom
