I went to install Mono on my Leopard machine from this archive:
http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/archive/1.9.1/macos-10-universal/3/MonoFramework-1.9.1_3.macos10.novell.universal.dmg
I was dismayed to see this in the release notes:
4. System.Windows.Forms is known to not work under X11 on
10.5.
Apple has introduced a broken
implementation of some extensions that we cannot
disable.
Can someone tell me what this is all about? This is we have heard of
this issue, and a Google search only turned up the commit message:
