Ben, We were getting odd badmatch errors from your xorg. We tracked it down to your XRender implementation. If I ran in gdb and patched the return value for the XQueryExtension against Render (effectively disabling render for the application). Things ran fine. This was as of 10.5.0 and I believe 10.5.1, but I'd have to check my notes. We've focused on the Carbon driver since then.
Note, when I looked around we were not the only people having major problems with Xorg on 10.5, and something that looked similar to me was already filed on radar. I'll check again today on 10.5.2 to see if the issue still persists and update our release notes if not. -g On Sun, 2008-05-25 at 06:08 -0700, Ben Byer wrote: > I went to install Mono on my Leopard machine from this archive: > > http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/archive/1.9.1/macos-10-universal/3/MonoFramework-1.9.1_3.macos10.novell.universal.dmg > > I was dismayed to see this in the release notes: > > 4.
