  We were getting odd badmatch errors from your xorg.  We tracked it
down to your XRender implementation.  If I ran in gdb and patched the
return value for the XQueryExtension against Render (effectively
disabling render for the application).  Things ran fine.  This was as of
10.5.0 and I believe 10.5.1, but I'd have to check my notes.  We've
focused on the Carbon driver since then.

  Note, when I looked around we were not the only people having major
problems with Xorg on 10.5, and something that looked similar to me was
already filed on radar.

  I'll check again today on 10.5.2 to see if the issue still persists
and update our release notes if not.
