So 45 seconds per press of f10 and longer to see my local variables is the best I can expect moving forward when debugging in the emulator?

The upcoming release (soon!) should have all known instances of the debugger being slow fixed. If you still have a test case where the debugger is slow on it, please let us know. Note this is for debugging on devices. Doing *anything* is slow on the emulator, and debugging has to do a lot of somethings, so there's not much that can be done for emulator debugging.
