Hi all, I'm still struggling with my static library (previous issue in a previous email), but in an effort to fix that I'm trying to update to the latest betas all around.
I enabled the beta channel in Preferences->Updates->Beta and when I check for updates, I see that MonoDevelop 2.8.6 (Beta) and MonoTouch 5.1.1 (Beta) are available. However when I click Update and Restart I immediately see the update dialog with a 0% progress bar, and the title saying Canceling Update", and the subtext states "Detaching Disk Image". Then Mono restarts without updating. This has happened before (100% of the time for me), but I haven't needed to install a beta, so I just updated by downloading from my Purchase list at Xamarin.com. Has anyone seen this? Is there a way to get around it and force an update to the beta? Or is there a link to the Beta's which I can just download? Many thanks, Brett
