People are weird (you and me included). I _hate_ the pointing stick things. RSI inside 30 seconds.
I tolerate trackpads (external better than internal). I prefer mice, at the moment, the Magic mouse. Clearly, you disagree.... For work (windows machine, HP or something) I use a large mac keyboard (seriously) and a MSFT notebook mouse. For home (mac) I use a small mac keyboard and a magic mouse (I'd have a big mac keyboard is they were wireless) :) Very glad there are options.
