Dennis: - PCLs are optional - it's your app and you can use full monotouch/monodroid/wp/winrt class libraries if you prefer - you can even use `#if` sections in your code if you want to. Redth's WshLst code is a great example of writing native class libraries while consuming PCL MvvmCross libraries. - "may or may not line up with your current needs or preferences" - 100% agree- pick your current tools for your current job.
