As you're advising people to stop supporting IE6, be aware that it isn't even possible for some people to upgrade to IE7 without also upgrading their hardware/operating system. Older operating systems that still work just fine, don't support IE7 (WIN2K for example)
Sure there is always Firefox, but IE7 is not even an option for some which might explain the continued use of IE6.
