There is an update to moofx (called moofx2) which is available on
code.google.com (search for it). I have used it with prototype with
very good results.

But really, the best way to use motools is of course, the mootools
1.2.1 code, but moofx2 will help when you want mootools fx code for
prototype.

Afaik, moofx2 is unmaintained.
