First, I must say I don't control the code in the server...
I just consume its API... so, It's not under my responsibility to
change the XML content to JSON.

I'd also love to have the content served in JSON, but unluckily
this is not the case...
Someone recomended to change the elements to valid HTML elements.
That is also impossible for me, for the reason stated above...

Other idea I gathered from your answers was to encode the XML
into a JSON object. That sounded good. Any idea on how to do that?
