Most of the changes in 1.3 are 'under the hood'. There's a lot of
reorganization and some new abstractions, but nothing that the user would
ever notice; no new animations or widgets or anything like that. The changes
make it easier for us to write MooTools itself, and some of the abstractions
will be useful to developers, but they aren't things you couldn't write
yourself if you found you needed them before hand.

There are some new features. For instance, event delegation will be in -core
and it will support all events (the MooTools More plugin doesn't support
focus and blur events, for example). There's also a new, better, faster
selector engine, but you aren't likely to really miss its features if you
start now (though there are some nice ones).
