Hi all, with my first message to this list I want to report a really, really strange problem. I developed a website for a company, with some parts made with mootools, and all is working without problems. But. The company called me and said that on their PCs the mootools parts were not working. I made a bit of troubleshooting, and found the problem: from inside their network, the main mootools file (mootools-1.2.4-core-yc.js) isn't downloaded correctly: only the first 512bytes are retrieved from the server. Really strange. So I thought it was a web-server problem: but when I try to download the same file from the main mootools server (http://mootools.net/download/get/mootools-1.2.4-core-yc.js) I get the same problem: from inside their network, I can download only the first 512bytes. More clues: - I can download the "more" mootools file (that is almost twice the size of the core file) with no problem. - I tryed to download both YM and JC versions: the problem is still the same, only the first 512b are downloaded. - If I download the NC version, I download a 32,5KB file, but it is still largely incomplete (file is ~94K) - I get the partial download problem both with core mootools 1.2.4, 1.2.3, 1.2.1 versions - Incredibly, I can download core versione 1.2.0 without problem (both NC, YM and JC) !!! WTF??
So, from that network I can't dowload any of the core 1.2.1,1.2.2,1.2.3, 1.2.4 mootools version: I can only download the 1.2.0 version! And the server from which I download isn't important, because I get the same problem also downloading from the main mootools server (and the file I can download from there is a .txt file, not .js). Who is able to solve this "amazing" problem? Bye, Daniele
