Of course, now that Fx5 is out the door... That being said, we're in a similar situation to you, in that we develop a cross-browser web-app, and I can't say that we've run into any issues like those you describe... Far fewer Fx4-induced problems than IE9-induced ones. :) Anyway, I don't want to keep dragging this off-topic.
David, can you reproduce this in Fx5, Fx6 (Aurora), or Fx7 (Nightly), with a fresh profile (no addons)? You can grab Aurora from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/channel/ ; the nightlies are at http://nightly.mozilla.org/ . I'd also be interested to see if this is a problem for you in Fx4 with a fresh profile; I wonder if there might be an addon that you've got installed that's interfering somehow.
