The Jay Johnston book is not one that will make you a better programmer, its a collection of snippets... often not written well or with mootools best practices considerations at heart. My advice--without any disrespect for the author's efforts--read it for information but do not copy code verbatim. If you can cancel your order, do that instead, far better resources and example to learn from online. If you really want to learn about javascript and mootools from a book, get keeto's one instead - though it's not the most suited for an absolute beginner: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1430230541/ Best regards -- Dimitar Christoff "JavaScript is to JAVA what hamster is to ham" http://fragged.org/ - @D_mitar - https://github.com/DimitarChristoff
