Just saw that composer Jerry Goldsmith as died at age 75. He composed more than 200 film scores including "Alien," "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," "Chinatown," "Patton," "MacArthur," "Planet of the Apes," "L.A. Confidential," "Basic Instinct." "A Patch of Blue" and "Poltergeist."
