and have been framed in another way... my gay friends have abandoned me, my

and even if I had a frame I have no walls to hang it on because I am soon
to be homeless..

Whew!!! I have one guy who likes everything in

business. Really nice guy, but a big flirt. One of my customers is an
engineer at Caltech and his frame choice is always extremely geometrical and
linear and basic black. It's all cool to me. However, I have found in
my 20 years as a framer, my gay men customers have the best taste in framing
and clothes, not to mention cuter butts. (Hey there has to be some benefit
to this job!!) That is probably why "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"
is such a big hit on t.v. Happy Framing and Collecting, Sue

Today's Sunday NYT has an article on
framing. Emphasizing movie posters
especially foreign versions.
The author, Lynn Hirschberg, theorizes that the frame tells as much
about
the owner's personality as does the poster itself. I was hoping
to see some
free publicity for some of the MOPO framers but Sam and
Posteritati were the
only MOPOers mentioned that I recognized.
I don't know if the article's available on-line but for those who still
enjoy newsprint on their fingertips, as I do, it is on Page 80
of the Fall
Design section.
