I like this sentiment a lot more.

I know it makes me feel better about many purchases and keeps me excited
for future ones!

JR,

You know I always agree with most of what you say and you always state
it in a fair way. But I disagree with this statement, especially the
use of the phrase "throw away".
This purchase represents a profound respect, most probably, on the part
of the buyer for the material, which is different only in degree from
the typical purchase on Mopobid. It is this respect for and fondness
for the posters on which this entire hobby is founded. This material
is not junk, as you are well aware. When someone demonstrates that
they are willing to spend much more money than perhaps you or I can
spend or would spend on this material, the whole hobby is validated. It
doesn't mean he threw his money away. A man bought the SLAVE GIRLS
FROM BEYOND INFINITY from me yesterday for $68.50. Some people would
say that he is a fool. Doesn't make it so, just because:
       1) they may not have $68.50 to spend on this kind of purchase
2) they
do have that much money but would never choose to spend it on this kind
of purchase
       3) they don't understand his purchase.
or, finally, 4) they say so.

Respectfully,

$40,000 for a BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN title card because, well, sorry to
say, most of us cannot and will not ever be able to throw away that
kind of money on a small piece of 69-year-old paper.
