Stay away from the citrus based solvents, while they may be better for the environment (and you) the oils they contain can permanently stain a piece. We use heat, Bestine, and other solvents that evaporate quickly. Always test a small area before going crazy with the solvent, use adequate ventilation and rubber gloves are a good idea as most of these compounds can cause nerve damage over extended use.
