"and i can always buy from him with confidence."

Well, I can't.  When Bruce is unknowledgable about a posters provenance he
makes it up.  I've seen him do this several times.  Of course, these are
not "facts" because I have been deemed a "Bruce Hater," which is complete B.S.
Whatever.
I totally disagree with this accusation.  I have dealt with paper on a daily basis for about 39 years.  I have never met anyone more knowledgeable, or willing to share that knowledge, than Bruce Hershenson.  Furthermore Bruce has never claimed to be omniscient, and on a regular basis, collectors and/or dealers with specialized knowledge have informed him that he has inaccurately described a poster.  Bruce immediately alters the listing description to reflect the accurate information, and contacts each of the bidders on that listing, informing them of the change, and giving them the opportunity to change or cancel their bid.  I know he does this on a routine basis, as I have received many such emails telling me that the listing description has been altered.  I have also noted that he promptly made corrections the few times I was able to advise him of errors.

The above accusation implies Bruce "makes up" provenance because it will help that poster sell for more dollars.  Does anyone really believe that Bruce "cheats" bidders to be successful?  So that his percentage of the sale price is $5 or $10, or $100 more?  To "cheat" would be utter stupidity.  Nobody has ever accused Bruce of being stupid.  Bruce has sold millions of dollars of posters by offering a greater variety and quantity, describing them accurately, and providing exemplary service.  He is successful because he is a hard working, intelligent, and ethical businessman.
